Here's one of my all time favourite jazz tracks. Grant Green plays a lyrical and elegant solo, Larry Young is always a treasure, and Elvin Jones is beyond wonderful.

This has nothing to do with anything. It's just an arbitrary YouTube track, posted for no apparent reason. Just a senseless gesture. No Jews were criticised, there was no mention of climate change or the Republican party or the price of cheese or the diet of penguins. No animals were harmed.

Just one of my all time favourite jazz tracks. Grant Green plays a lyrical and elegant solo, Larry Young is always a treasure, and Elvin Jones is beyond wonderful.

Not even classical music, but who cares anymore. Listen to the track. It's beautiful. Some things in life still are. The song and lyrics are by Johnny Mercer. If you want a real literary treat, look up his lyrics. Nobody does it better. If you follow Johnny Mercer, you'll know that already.

Let's face it- you just want to talk about it. Admittedly, in these idle moments it is easy to have solid visions of being alive! And if not that, then at least live at the lighthouse. ;-)

Seems like a good track, but since I was listening to Sonny earlier, back atcha. I don't listen to Sonny a lot, but his tone is so easy...

Sonny Rollins is always a good listen. Have you checked out Melissa Aldano yet? Same kind of style and a wonderful player.
