House of Gucci Trailer Teases A Legacy Worth Killing For

MGM has released the official House of Gucci trailer for
Ridley Scott's star-studded crime drama feature, which
will be led by Lady Gaga and Adam Driver. The video
highlights the power and legacy of the titular luxury
brand while also providing us our first preview of the
events that led to the influential family's infamous
feud in the 1980s that ultimately resulted in the death
of Maurizio Gucci. The film is scheduled to make its
debut in theaters on November 24.

House of Gucci is inspired by the shocking true story of
the family empire behind the Italian fashion house of
Gucci. Spanning three decades of love, betrayal,
decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder, we see what a
name means, what it's worth, and how far a family will go
for control. Oscar-winning singer and actress Lady Gaga
stars as Maurizio Gucci's ex-wife, who was tried and
convicted for orchestrating her ex-husband's murder on
the steps of his office in 1995.

The film also stars Adam Driver, Al Pacino, Jared Leto,
Salma Hayek, Camille Cottin, Jack Huston, Jeremy Irons,
Madalina Ghenea, Reeve Carney, and Youssef Kerkour.

Based on Sara Gay Forden's 2001 novel The House of Gucci:
A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and
Greed, the film is directed by Ridley Scott from a
screenplay written by Roberto Bentivegna and Becky
Johnston. Producers are Ridley and Giannina Scott through
their Scott Free Productions banner alongside Kevin Walsh.
