Not sure what to make of this. This is certainly anomalous for the market. Could it be that people got into a bidding war and just didn't care how much money they were spending? Maybe a collector's girlfriend was determined to buy these toys for him (you said it happened on Valentine's Day) and she had no idea how much the stuff was actually worth?

I think something very atypical happened here. I don't think it's the new normal. Or, at least, I'm crossing my fingers that it's not.

Zob (got a broken Action Master Jackpot for ten bucks and I'm going to try to graft his head onto the Amazon Golden Disk toy)
