Chris, I've been watching concerts on Arte for a while now, and occasionally recommending particularly good ones here. I used to get frustrated when Arte links produced the dreaded "This programme is not available in your country" warnings, but on the recommendation of none other than Desperate Dan I now subscribe to a VPN which has solved the problem entirely.

For opera and ballet I can also recommend ROH Stream and Glyndebourne Encore. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. BTW the ROH Android app is not very good, so I recommend watching through a browser.
