A few comments on E02:
-Even if Cody had not collected all the beads that he needed to activate his advantage, Justine would still have
been booted. Inexplicably, she and Noelle split their votes.
-I'm assuming that there will be some sort of mishap with the Hawaiian Sling in a future episode given all the comments
that Elie made while she watched Mike trying to figure out how it worked.
-I'm also assuming that Owen will turn out to be some sort of psycho given the really creepy scenes that we saw of him
talking to himself about his tribe mates.
-What is wrong with the skinny Chinese woman's face?
-During the immunity/reward challenge, Probst told yellow tribe that they needed to get their bag open because there was a
piece inside it that they needed to solve the puzzle. When Nigerian Woman dropped red tribe's bag in the sand, he did not
provide the same information to her even though he knew that it would be impossible for them to complete the puzzle
without the missing piece.

This is why she and Noelle split their votes.

I will also say like there's confusion about why we split our votes between Cody and Nneka. And it's because you don't see all these scenes where Jesse is also very much strategizing with us and building trust with us, making us feel like, "Okay, Jesse's on our side." And so that was the reason behind splitting votes because we thought Nekka absolutely knew that she was going home tonight to a point where she might play her Shot in the Dark. And in that case we didn't want to have to fall back on me going home. We wanted that to be Cody.

Either that or he loses it which causes hardship for the tribe and leads to him getting booted.

I'm not sure what to make of him.

Was her face not fine at the start of the game? I thought it got mangled in one of the first comps but it looks like she developed a skin condition.

I noticed that as well yet no one seems to be talking about this. The losing tribe acknowledged they screwed up after they lost and don't appear to have complained about Jeff helping the other tribe. Either that or they didn't hear him help the other tribe.

If you have time watch Justine's exit interview with Dalton. Sounds like we're missing a lot concerning Jesse playing both sides.

One last point for now. Were we not shown last week that Mike's idol is good for the next two TCs he goes to? I thought it was the next two TCs period which I thought was great. If his tribe goes on a run he could be safe for a long time.

Fair enough! But I think she and Noelle made a lot of assumptions about what Jesse and Nneka were going to do. However, as it turned
out, even if the two of them had voted together, Justine would still have been booted. The person that Justine should have really been
mad at is Dwight. By selfishly risking his vote while on a six person tribe, he left his allies in a vulnerable situation.

When his hair is wet, Owen looks a lot like Gibby Haynes from Butthole Surfers :-)

Good catch! I watched parts of E01 again, and you're exactly right. Her chin got messed up when she tried to wiggle under that log during the IC.

I'm pretty sure that nobody outside of some of the members of yellow tribe would have heard Probst. I'm surprised that his "guidance" was
included in the edit. I guess the editors wanted to draw attention to Nneka's blunder, but they ended up making their boss look a little shady.

I watched it. Leading up to the TC, Cory, Nneka, and Jesse's efforts to pull together enough beads to activate the advantage was the
story that the editors wanted to tell. Jesse's strategizing was therefore de-emphasized.
IMO, Justine made way too much of Cody's efforts to characterize her as being untrustworthy based on her profession. As a fan of the game,
she should know that it is common for Survivor players to use the most inconsequential of details in order to gain an advantage over
somebody who they view as a rival. The fact that Cody is also in sales made his approach a lot funnier. Clearly (and probably understandably)
Justine did not see the humour in Cody's game play.

I think one of the rules of the challenge was all bags had to be on the
table before starting the puzzle. Jeff stopped them from working on the
puzzle until they got the stray bag on the table.

But, if that was the case, why did he allow Ride Tribe to work on the puzzle after Nneka had dropped
their bag in the sand?
