OH NO!!!! For today's October 29, 2021 Peanuts (Classic) daily strip in newspapers and gocomics.com instead of a 1974 daily strip we are seeing a November 5, 1968 Peanuts daily strip featuring Charlie Brown and Linus ("My Grandma and I have been having a philosophical arguement...") that was previously rerun on November 3, 2015 in the 1968 rerun cycle. Maybe it is replacing a 1974 Peanuts daily that is not suited for the 2021 year or maybe POLITICALLY INCORRECT for today's world? This is the first time since 2019 when an earlier year Peanuts strip replaced a not suited for today's world or POLITICALLY INCORRECT Peanuts strip in a rerun cycle! (But be glad it's not late 1950's or early 1960's!) The last time this happened (back in September-October 2019) was when 2 Peanuts 1972 Sundays with POLITICALLY INCORRECT or something like that Joe Eskimo references got replaced by 2 Peanuts 1966 Sunday strips!

I hope the 1974 strips resume tomorrow on October 30, 2021 so we can find out in a few days what 1974 Peanuts daily strip got snubbed out of the rerun cycle that might be POLITICALLY INCORRECT or something like that! Hope it isn't the October 31, 1974 Halloween related strip even as we get to the November-December 1974 arc where Peppermint Patty practices to take part in an ice skating competition!

And today on October 30, 2021 the 1974 Peanuts strips resume with the October 31, 2021 Peanuts Halloween related strip rerun on a Saturday - Tonight you see in pumpkins ghosts?!

Monday starts the 1974 Peanuts Peppermint Patty ice skating competition arc..

And since we are 3 days in the 1974 Peppermint Patty skating competition arc and since for November 3, 2021 we saw Peppermint Patty talking on the phone with Charlie Brown about a skating coach (Snoopy), the skipped arc strip that caused on October 29, 2021 a replacement 1968 Peanuts strip dealt with Peppermint Patty noticing Franklin playing hockey and Peppermint Patty asks Franklin if there are African-American players in the NHL - this strip wasn't even run in the original 1974 Peanuts cycle back in 2000!
