If you have a Mac, there's an app called PullTube, which enables you to
just copy and paste the YouTube url and download the video content,
without commercials. It also support Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram,
Dailymotion, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Bandcamp, Youku and others. You can
also trim or split videos by timecodes.

It's cheap, $15 including all future updates, and can usually download
from any video playing website. Well worth it. There's also a free
trial to see if it works for you.
