A recluse is devastated when his truffle pig, his sole support, is
stolen. PIG is a first-rate demonstration of what Nicolas Cage does
best, i.e., playing a character that only he can play. This is an
ambitious and visceral little drama, with not only moments but content
....even if the latter's admittedly hard to pin down. Recommended.

It's been almost four months since William and I told you to watch this
one. Sure took you long enough. You never listen.

That put it in my queue ...which Netflix didn't remind me of when it
finally reached DVD.

I retrieved (and now remember well) the earlier exchange, and can
scarcely believe you actually said less about the movie than I have...
