It's not painted, and the sword pose already looks like you're detransforming the arms. Thankfully it's much simpler than the MP

I think it's awesome that Evan Brooks actually took the time to make that video. Hasbro has really been making a concerted effort to establish a channel with the fandom, and I feel like it's paying off. They've become so much more savvy about social media, and the very real necessity to remain in contact with the fandom for feedback. They can post on Twitter now and get instantaneous responses, and as market research that's absolutely invaluable.

Did you catch the hint he dropped that Victory Leo is only compatible with Star Saber... for now? That strongly suggests another character is coming who WILL be compatible. Interesting.

He looks really nice. I’m looking forward to his release.

The one thing I don’t like about the basic character design is the head —
it’s authentic, but having it out there with the antennas sticking down as
guns… it still looks too headlike. I wish it came with an alternate, less
authentic head that made a different set of trade offs — more gun turret,
less authentic.

Since it’s a helmet, and moves around through parts forming, it really
would be very doable to come with multiple choices.
