There was a Transformers Tuesday drop yesterday, but it looked like all Michael Bay movie toys, so I ignored it. Turns out I was wrong, and they snuck the long-awaited G1 Arcee into the mix:

For those who didn't hear, she's kind of a weird Frankenstein mish-mash of the Generations toy from 2014 (upper body, mostly) along with some new parts (lower body, mostly). But, honestly that was such a phenomenal toy that I'm totally fine with them tweaking it and improving it and reselling it. I'd say it's unlikely they'll ever top it. This is honestly what they should have done with Kingdom Waspinator.

She's $24.99 and is scheduled for release either December 2022 or January 2023, depending on whether you're on the mobile app or desktop.

Zob (marginally excited for this toy, especially if she's marginally better than the Earthrise toy)

We got the original images last week, the same day I got my T30 Arcee, and I must say I'm really digging the blacks and blues on the T30 more than I like this future offering. Bla bla show accuracy, I always have thought Arcee looked too simplified on screen. The real question is do I need another when it comes out? Who knows.

She does look much better than Earthrise, if only for having a stable backpack instead of a mess of parts falling apart.
