As good if not better was his Carnegie Hall performance in April 1975. Unfortunately no good recording exists of this recital.

Horowitz was really on his game in both those Carnegie Hall recitals.
I do like the 1965 Ballade, and I usually don't care for Horowitz's

I'm fond of his 1953 Carnegie Hall Recital, especially the Schubert D960 which nobody else seems to like as much as I do.
