Back again with a movie review, an arguable Alien knockoff called Lily CAT. It got me thinking further on whether Japanese sci fi was ever as far from the mainstream as it was in the West. One more thing I got suspicious about without going into in the post is whether what now gets called "Hentai" was around early enough to influence Alien and The Thing. On second thought, I don't think I want to know.
