the house he built. Rebecca Hall keeps THE NIGHT HOUSE ably balanced on
the edge of thriller vs. supernatural horror. Mostly recommended.

Unusual movie, hard to figure, but with maybe not quite as much of a
payoff as I'd hoped.

....me too. I think the payoff itself was actually pretty solid on
paper, but set up too quietly. However, I had similar complaint about
DON'T LOOK NOW (1973), which is widely regarded a masterpiece...
