Rumored Season 41 Cast

A first look at the Survivor 41 cast…

As previously revealed on Inside Survivor, the upcoming forty-first season of Survivor recently wrapped up filming in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands and will feature 18 new castaways divided into three tribes. The season, which lasted 26 days, will be the first not to have a theme or location title, instead, it will simply be known as Survivor 41.

Below is the first half of the RUMORED new cast members for Season 41.

This group appears to be less diverse in age than what we have come to expect in recent seasons. Once the player profiles
are put up on the CBS website, I am also expecting to see more African Americans/Canadians than the token 2 or 4 that has
become customary. Also, why do Probst and Van Wagenen keep casting ex-professional athletes? What do they think that
these guys add to the show?

They said previously that 50% of all players in 41 and 42 would be
"POC" which if they're all like Yau Ming would be great and gawdawful
if they were all like Ghandia.....

I noticed the age thing as well. Compared to S40 34 is pretty young. Hopefully the rest of the cast has some older people. Or did they know in advance that the season was going to be short and fast-paced and decided not to cast older people thinking they wouldn't be able to handle it?

I think Jeff loves to cast ex-pro athletes because he thinks it gives legitimacy to his claim of how hard the game is.

IIRC they said 50% going forward for all of their big reality shows. BB23 will be the first big test of this policy. Let's hope they find people who actually know the game and/or are willing to quickly learn unlike David in BB21 and again in BB22. Or Day for that matter in BB17, BB18 and BB22!

He's updated the article to include info on two more people. Now the oldest cast member is 46.

I was unsatisfied with the BB Canada final 3 as the winner made it
quite plain that he chose his final 2 partner entirely to ensure a
black man would win (the other two were a black man and a white
woman). What I >particularly< objected to was that such overt racism
was applauded both by the host and several of the jury members.

(There were plenty of reasons to take the F2 partner he chose that
didn't involve race and I didn't object to WHO he chose - just the
overt racism of his stated reason)

I knew something like that would happen. It was one of the many reasons why I didn't watch. Arisa post last season basically said they were going to do whatever it took took to get a nonwhite winner. CBS did similar last season when they cast a number of questionable people as "all stars" to prevent being criticized by the BLM crowd. I hope the DR doesn't push people to make decisions based on race and gender identity this summer.

Unless they backend most of the boots we won't have much time to either love or dislike these people. I hope viewer reaction to 26 day seasons is so bad that they go back to 39 days.

persuasion that I'd welcome back any time there are plenty that
wouldn't be. For instance much as I found James Clement extremely
entertaining getting voted out with 2 hidden immunity idols isn't my
idea of an all-star!

It'll probably be awhile before we see returning players on Survivor. You'll have to watch The Challenge if you want to see past Survivor people.

The article's been updated to include info on all 18 players. Now we have more players in their 40s and 50s. Easily the most diverse class ever. Or would it be more accurate to say it's the most nonwhite cast ever?

It's an MTV show that is a spinoff from Real World and Road Rules. I haven't seen too much of it but what I have seen looks super hardcore. The seasons have themes and are shot all over the world. There's a core group of players called Veterans that get to play every season. Then there are Rookies. If a Rookie does well they can get invited back but I don't think that means they automatically become a Veteran. Where they live is very spartan. That aspect of the game is kinda similar to BB. IIRC there's a committee that recommends who should have to face off in a challenge. The loser is usually out of the game but not always--depends on twists, etc. The challenges are a lot more physical than on Survivor. I'd say the show also has a bigger budget but it is shown all over the world. The players are from all over as well.

Some seasons have more than one winner. Amber from BB16 was one of the winners last season. It was the first time she's played. KC from BB20 finished second two seasons ago but got pretty badly injured last season. Fessy and Josh from BB have played a number of times. Survivor people started getting invited a few seasons ago. Jay played a few seasons ago (last season as well?) and Natalie Anderson but I believe she had to quit when she found out she was pregnant. There's a season being shot right now that is supposed to have a number of Survivor players. I know Jay is playing and so is Michele.. I heard Wendell is playing and there might a few other big names. I hope Michele doesn't get hurt. The challenges on that show are meant for beasts like Nat and KC. Michele will have to rely on her social skills to keep her safe.
