It's science fiction in a near future in which a man of European descent
and his wife of African descent can buy an Asian-appearing Technosapien
(an android) to be a nanny who will help their adopted daughter of Asian
descent learn about her Chinese heritage. Everybody loves Yang and then
he gets a glitch and "dies."

I enjoyed little unexplained glimpses of what life will be like in the
near future -- vehicles come equipped with ferns growing in the back
seat -- and I liked the gorgeous cinematography, but the star of the
show turned out to be melancholy and I'm not a big fan of melancholy.

Don't bother.
