It has just been announced that RMCR's favourite conductor Klaus Mäkelä has signed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, where he'll be chief conductor from 2027 onwards.
He'll also be chief conductor in Amsterdam from 2027 onwards.

At least he'll never have to wonder whether he's in Chicago or in Amsterdam, since no two top orchestras sound more different,.

Le Klaus will stop at nothing to collect
more frequent flyer miles. Why doesn't he
just sign up to be a flight attendant? He
could travel for free! ;-)

This guy practices voodoo or something, he shows up at an orchestra, casts a spell, and suddenly they offer him the top job. This literally happens everywhere he goes.
