The new Remy Ballot 11 CD box:

is not a perfect compilation of the individual
releases on Gramola. On the 9th symphony the
first release was two disc with the first disc
being a hybrid SACD and the second disc being a CD
of a non-Ballot two piano transcription. This
bonus disc is excluded. There is also a 0 symphony
disc exclusive to the new box.

I hate marketing tricks like this and there's
no reason to exclude the bonus disc or fail to
release the 0 symphony individually.

Judging from videos of Mr. Ballot he looks and
sounds like a Celibidache wannabe. That may be
a good thing if he pulls it off.
