Jordan Peele's third movie, which I believe will put him on the A list
of Hollywood filmmakers if he wasn't there already. I don't know how to
talk about the plot without spoiling it so I won't. I will say UFO(s)
are involved, so I don't know if some will claim it's sci fi, but I'm
not sure putting it in a category or genre makes any difference. It's
interesting because as the story unfolds the viewer has no idea where
it's going and thus truly keeps you guessing. The jaded filmgoer is
unlikely to think "this reminds me of ..." because it doesn't. The
acting is great, the music is great, the production values (including
special fx) are great. Daniel Kaluuya, again, is outstanding. I don't
know how audiences will receive this but I think people will certainly
be entertained.

Interesting. The only other review I've seen called it the worst
movie of 2022. I may have to check it out.

I'm not sure what planet you reside on. We have this thing called the
internet now that makes the flow of information rather easy.

Nope First Reviews: Ambitious and Well Crafted, but Possibly Jordan
Peele's Most Divisive Film Yet
Critics say the writer-directors sci-fi thriller is thought-provoking
and confidently made, but its big ideas and cerebral plot may leave
general audiences wanting more.

Hint: "General audiences" translates to "stupid people."

I've watched it twice now and I'm still not sure what to make of it.
But overall, I thought it was OK. Definitely sci-fi horror IMO. I'd
probably compare it to John Carpenter's The Thing, but a lot of that
comparison comes from Keith David being in both movies.
