Have been doing a few more animation reviews, and this is the one I decided would fit in here, a science fantasy Disney knockoff. I find the science unusually good even compared to supposedly "straight" science fiction, which unfortunately isn't saying much. Apparently, they got Martin Caidin as an adviser, which presumably helped somewhat. Apparently,, he had had a reasonably high profile since the 1960s at least. Didn't comment further, I first ran across Caidin for an '80s novel Killer Station, which was very disappointing. Anyone else remember the movie, or more of Caidin's work?

I don't remember Pinnochio in Outer Space, no.

But as for Martin Caidin...

There was Marooned, perhaps his most famous work...
although Cyborg, which served as the basis for the famous television
series The Six Million Dollar Man is also right up there.

But I read a few other of his novels as well - Dark Messiah, Exit Earth, Aquarius Mission,
The God Machine, and Beamriders.
