and Peter might have had the fish

with churches walkways to event centers
and stadiums full of angel praise
rivers full of baptized
an old elder elected his gaze

you created our world

from Jerusalem, Los Angeles
Rome, and Tokyo church
you kept on preaching
one by one making disciples
we keep on trying
but you do the work

God you created our world
to be found by every boy and girl
at the end of the book of matthew and isaiah 53
to have easter eggs and a jesus made of chocolate
for your college peers
