"Shadow of Victory" was probably the last Honorverse (and Weber)
book I will ever read. I pre-ordered it, or I probably wouldn't
have bought it at all. If there was ever a book in dire need of
an editor to cut it down to one third of its size, this was it.

Or are these treecat books totally different?

Well, it looks like it has less Weber. Probably along the lines of
a Weber outline or a "yeah Jane, that sounds good".

The previous three treecat books were probably 3/4 Jane and 1/4 David
Weber after the first book. The treecat books are targeted to the 7th
through 9th grades which means a shorter book. The first collaboration
is 304 pages MMPB.

I loved the treecat books, almost a first contact series of books.
Please note that I love juvenile SF as the wife says that I may be 61
years of age but act like a 15 year old, until my joints start aching
