The United Nations Security Council authorized, through its resolution 929 of June 22, 1994 adopted under Chapter VII and on the initiative of France, a so-called humanitarian operation which can use force on the ground.

This humanitarian operation is also called Operation Turquoise

What does this have to do with Macron? In 1994, he was a 16-year-old
high school student.
