Today's poem on Penny's Poetry Blog:
Moods of March, by Ellen P. Allerton
[...]
Loud is the voice of the raging storm;
As the fierce gusts come and go;
Black are the panes where the black night leans
Like a homeless ghost in the snow

This turns out to be the third poem I've used by her. I haven't been
able to add much to the Wikipedia bio on PPP, just a few links to poems
(on the blog and Poetry Nook, which has over 100), and a reading I found
online of her poem, "Blackbirds".
