I ran across this novel recently. Glanced at the description in the dustjacket,
then hastily put it down.
It appeared the book was about how God kept sending disasters to the planet
because the human race had failed to obey Him - and this was because the
ministers of the large mainstream churches were covering up the fact that the
Bible was literally true.
However, I then checked elsewhere to find out about the context of this book,
and I found that, no, it wasn't a religious tract in the form of a novel, like that
big series about the Rapture, I had misread the dust jacket.

Instead, it was a book about a Christian minister who was searching for the
secret of the "Creation Code", and was basically inspired by the success of
such works as "The Da Vinci Code" and "The Rule of Four", with additional
inspiration from works like "The Bible Code".
