I think the risk is significant that his PDFs contain evil
software to hack your computer. Authors would not thank you
for introducing him to that.

At the same time, it's conceivable that these works happen
to have been donated by the authors for free use in the study
and practice of medicine. But not like this, of course.

Also, he's using PayPal and credit cards for payment. Unless he Is legitimately
selling these pdfs, he can be shutdown. He's offering this on pdf for $12. The Kindle
Version is $143, and the hardcover as much as $463.

The authors and publishers should be able to crush him like an ant.

I looked at it. The guy is selling scores of science and medical texts as pdfs,
for $10-$20 each, around 10% the price of the legit text. He takes PayPal, Visa,
and MC.

There's some handwaving justification of the copyright violation, but nothing that
would impress a court. If he came to the attention of the IP holders or payment
services, he's dead.

He's probably operating out of East Elbonia, so enforcement of
copyright other than by hiring a hit could be problematical. On the
other than the payment processors aren't so they might be targetable.
