xkcd: The Best Camera
https://xkcd.com/2645/

Ok, it is the best camera for an astronomer / physicist. But not when I
am taking a picture of my cute dog.

Explained at:

This is a wonderful xkcd. And when I was keen on photography (which was long before digital cameras) I was keen on cameras small enough that you could carry them around without thinking - I had a Minolta 16 and a couple of Minox 35mm cameras (which alas were really too fragile to live in my jacket pocket all day as I walked around London sightseeing) and an Olympus half-frame.

On the subject of carrying around a camera,
https://xkcd.com/1235/
is easy to bring up on my phone when the subject turns to strange phenomena..

(I'd have to look up if this was printed before or after that asteroid strike on that city caught by all the dashcams.)
