outrageously fast. Somebody with science-writer skills should
start a web page that organizes them somehow, perhaps in

The sand is actually a cloud surrounding the brown dwarf. Which I'm
guessing must mean it's pretty recently formed.

Yes, but I heard this long ago. I believe it was in a seminar at NASA GSFC. If so, it may have
been a theoretical prediction rather than an observation as I was there in the eighties.
