22 or maybe 23 for me. Don't remember the blackjack chewing gum, the blue
flashbulbs and maybe the newsreel before the movie. I do recall knowing
about the newsreel before the movie in the general sense, but I can't recall
specific examples of that. Every time I try to remember, I think of the
opening to Citizen Kane, where the newsreel is part of the movie.

Primula, Thanks for my fun remembering all of them
except for Packards. For you and Rick, if you like
black licorice, you'd love Black Jack gum. To me,
it was similar in taste. I already knew I was old,

Ah, that explains why I didn't know it. I've always been red licorice all
the way and never liked the taste of black licorice.

My father actually had a Packard back in the 50s, which is the only reason I
know about that.
