Are you sure about this? While a Max Baer did pass on September 30th,
the one I read about was the Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania
Supreme Court and was 10 years younger than Jethro.

And there are three youtube videos, one from 2020, one from 2021 and one from
three weeks ago touting Max Baer Jr. (the actor's) supposed death; two from
something called BLACK STAR NEWS and the other by something called "Allen Radio".

None of which seem to be accurate (including misspelling his surname).

Neither IMDB nor Wikipedia list him as dead. Neither is definitive,
but one would expect both to be updated after three days. And the
judge's death is correct day.

That's where I learned that he had died. Unless I didn't notice that I had looked at the Supreme Court justice's page by mistake.

I had looked at the correct Wikipedia page... which had been *mistakenly* edited, because of the death of the Pennsylvania
Supreme Court justice, to claim he had died... before it was corrected.

His --the actor's-- father, Max Baer, also an actor, would have been 101 in 2020, if he were still alive, rather than dying in 1959 at the age of 50. (For sf bona fides, the senior was in the cryptozoological Abbott & Costello movie, "Africa Screams.")
