I saw that earlier today. I liked the way he played Hagrid. The article
I read didn't say what he died of, just that he had been in hospital. (I
left out the "the" in honor of his Scottishness.)

is a human being. Incidentally, Robbie Coltrane borrowed
his name as a performer from John Coltrane. Robbie's
main musical role I'm aware of is in the rather downbeat

ASOT had a Cretaceous butterfly killed by a time traveler snowballing into
significant societal changes when he got back to the present. 1952, Bradbury.

'The Butterfly Effect' originates in chaos theory. From Wikipedia:

"The term is closely associated with the work of mathematician and meteorologist Edward
Norton Lorenz. He noted that the butterfly effect is derived from the metaphorical example
of the details of a tornado (the exact time of formation, the exact path taken) being influenced
by minor perturbations such as a distant butterfly flapping its wings several weeks earlier."

I'm confused. What's the relationship between that classic story and
Robbie Coltrane, or Ravi Coltrane, or Rubeus Hagrid, or jazz saxophone?
