That's a lot of practice.

Reminds me of my last manager: she once told us that, when her husband
got sick, they found out why doctors are only said to /practice/
medicine.

And it wasn't intended as a compliment.

The films eventually devolved into a simple formula:

young child gets into trouble
Gamera saves young child

Note that there is at least one Evil Monster in each film for Gamera
to save the planet from.

There's even a theme song about how children love Gamera because he is
on their side. Well, you can't save the kids without saving the
parents as well.

Note: the later reboot tones this down a bit, but only a bit. It also
reveals that Gamera was invented by Atlanteans as a counter to an
earlier experiment in Monster Creation which went horribly wrong. This
is not quite the same as the original story.

If you were deathly ill, who would you prefer treat you? A licensed
doctor with 50 years of practice, or Greta Thunberg?

Serious question.

Nobody.

And, since I've been obese most of my life (maybe not the first decade
to decade & a half), I am considered "deathly ill" by doctors with 50

and in a considerably different context than either Bush 41 or Clancy.

Greta Thunberg breaks ranks with German Green Party and urges Germany not
to shut down nuclear power plants

She's not asking for Sweden's nuclear reactors to be shut, btw.

The group she started, Extinction Rebellion, recently made up for that,
by throwing tomato soup at a Van Gogh painting.

Do you *ever* fact check?
What's your evidence that she 'started it'?

From Wikipedia:

"Extinction Rebellion originated in the United Kingdom at a meeting of activists including Gail Bradbrook, Roger Hallam and Simon Bramwell in April 2018."
Greta didn't start her activist career until August 2018, in Sweden.
It is true that she's well aligned with the group and has appeared at its events. But she did not
start it.

None of it is true. The activists represent
Coal Not Dole, and what they did was throw
twenty-five identical Andy Warhol paintings...
none of this is true either, and I can either
work up an ending for it, or send it as is.

The tomoato soup reference was apparently for this:

which was a Van Gogh painting (and, apparently, safe behind glass),
no Warhol (who painted a soup can, so ok, I can see how somebody
would get that wrong), and the group was Just Stop Oil, who are
funded by Climate Emergency Fund, who Great Thunberg certainly
approves of, but is not, so far as I can tell, directly involved
with.
