No. Again, you *could* have checked, but didn't.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Dorian%E2%80%93Alabama_controversy

Hurricane Dorian. Sept 1, 2019. Trump tweets out a message listing the states affected,
including Alabama, which was then known to not be in the path. Alabamans
panic, until state weather service clarifies that the state is safe. Trump is
deservedly mocked.

Trump doubled down, insisting he was right. Sept 4, he shows a map where the
probability cone had been crudely modified with a sharpie to include Alabama,
ordered the state weather service to retract its assurance, and directed NOAA
to back him up, which it did in an unsigned statement. NOAA officials were
found to have violated the agencies scientific integrity rules for doing so.

One can't teleport to Winnipeg. The energized molecules, on
exposure to that environment, won't be able to coalesce according
to the pattern buffer, because all movement will cease. :)

Who knows why the Jets are 5-3?

The storm loses energy in each state. Eventually
it's just a windy day.

I would not have reacted if you had said "Winterpeg" which is a local
nickname since Winnipeg probably has the coldest winters in North
America for cities with population over 1/2 million.....

In our first year of marriage we lived there and were trying to
economize (not all that common for newlyweds a year out cf college) so
I walked to work everyday (about 7-8 blocks) which was lovely in
summer but not so much fun in -40 with a 40 mile an hour wind. (Been
there done that!)
