hyphenate "hitchhiker's." Unless it's on the cover, and split into
two lines, which is a different reason to hyphenate.

I connected to the trilogy when the US National /B/o/l/s/h/e/v/i/k/
Public Radio ran the BBC episodes (or "fits.")

Then it was the books and a fellow fan played the LP version for me.

I have access to the 1981 BBC-TV version, and have caught some of
that. Fun.

Nope. And I was too cross-eyed to type in the HGG whatever today. I
broke our Fortran interpreter with some new code last Friday and have
been counting bytes all day. We use a 3 byte to 8 byte instruction with
a variable sized payload after it. All written in Fortran 66 code. I
got lost in the stupid goto's all over the place. Fixed now and putting
up a patch for the customer.

It's one word on all the titles I have (book and film), FWIW, but I
seem to think of it as two words with an invisible hyphen between
them. Which is very strange, to be sure.

If you do a search on Amazon and look at the covers, sometimes the
title is big enough to not fit on one line, so it's split (and
hyphenated). Especially on the boxed sets.

But yeah, it does look like it's intended to be one word (and
should be, at least in US English.)

Re-reading it now, that is not entirely surprising, as "dramatically"
seems a bit over the top.

And even the part you snipped doesn't help as much as I might have
hoped it would.

FWIW, I don't really care how much a film costs to produce. There are
many really good films that didn't cost much to produce (and show it),
and many bad films that cost a lot.
