Everybody's got one. mine is any variation of the DOTM Mechtech deluxe Optimus Prime, specifically the one from the Last Knight 2-pack, it's so loose and floppy and doesn't even stand up. It's a classic case of bad ball joint placement.

My KO G1 Thunderclash. They cloned him well - all too well - right down to the crumbling GPS. Transformed him twice, with parts cracking and falling off each time. He's locked in vehicle mode and will never be touched again. What a terrible fate for what is after all a kid's toy and meant to be handled.

Classics/Henkei Ironhide, Perceptor, RTS Jazz are particularly egregious offenders for me - nothing locks into place!

I can't think of any toy that's objectively worse than Generations Selects Snaptrap.

Now, obviously they were asking a lot from a retool-of-a-retool, since Combiner Wars Silverbolt was never meant to look like a turtle, or a Piranacon body, or a robot with dual-action pom-pom guns on his back. I can be forgiving of a toy to some extent if it's trying to do something it was never meant to do.

But, let's get real. The front turtle legs are these tiny, vestigial little things. The turtle head isn't even connected to the body, and what's worse, the head *knows* this, which is probably why it pops off constantly. It knows it doesn't belong there. It's a turtle trapped in the body of a two-headed dragon monster who used to be a supersonic jet. Also, Hasbro charged consumers $65 for this Voyager-sized toy. That wasn't the aftermarket price. That was the MSRP.

Terrible, terrible toy. Just dreadful.

I recently got a G1 Broadside, which for the longest time was held up as the pinnacle of brickish terribleness. All I had ever owned all these years was some terrible knockoff of it that I think came out of an easter basket set. That one was all plastic and I thought it was a good enough representation of the toy that I could understand and accept the consensus opinion of how bad it was. But now that I have a real Broadside I don't think it's that bad. Its metal wings add heft to it and although the robot is the lamest of the three modes, those wing parts really shine in the plane and boat modes. I kind of like it.

That power dasher with the sticker face (was it just one or all of them with sticker faces?) sticks out as being pretty horrible. I hate sticker faces.. They ruin the entire rest of the toy they are so bad. Sticker face is the butterface of toy robots. It completely detracts from otherwise great designs. Ironhide and Ratchet should just have had computer detailing and never have been given sticker faces. Sticker faces suh-huh-uuuck. BUT the pull back motors and chrome parts of the power dashers are good enough that they just barely save them from being overall awful awful toys.

Wheelie was also an earliest forerunner in the most hated abominations toy unpopularity contest. I have always agreed with that. It is worse than anything from RoboTron (which I consider the worst robot toyline ever) and barely better than a fast food toy or a cereal prize. That would almost be my personal worst Transformer, except it comes in a close second behind EVERY ACTIONMASTER FIGURE EVER.

All three had sticker faces. They were very early Diaclone designs that
predate Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker, and Ironhide. But that's not much of
an excuse.

I'm not clear if the Diaclone versions had those sticker faces or not.
But I don't think do.

My understanding was that the sticker faces for Ratchet and Ironhide were a Hasbro addition. I'm pretty sure I've seen images of the Diaclone sticker sheets and they weren't on there.

So did Fortress Maximus, but nobody ever complains about him!
