OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For today's December 5, 2022 Peanuts Classic rerun instead of a 1975 strip we are getting a 1969 Peanuts strip that is replacing some kind of POLITICALLY INCORRECT 1975 Peanuts strip - Peppermint Patty in school previously rerun in December 2005 and December 2016. Hope 1969 strips aren't replacing a week long Peanuts 1975 arc involving Marcie and football! Or even at least one of the Peanuts late December 1975 Bicentennial related strips!

I know in late October 2022 a Veteran's Day strip from 1975 during the Linus/Peppermint Patty Great Pumpkin arc did get rerun even when Veteran's Day is currently in November since the late 1970's!

Another thing about the 1969 Peanuts strip replacing a might be POLITICALLY INCORRECT 1975 Peanuts strip or story arc: It has a "Universal Uclick" copyright instead of an Andrews-McMeel copyright.

Rumor has it rerunning a 1969 week from 2016 may be part of what A-M is rerunning December 5-10, 2016 strips this week thanks to the pre Thanksgiving 2022 GoComics glitch site problem.

Second day in a row for 1969 replacing 1975 which would be all week. So...

The reason for the 1969 week snubbing a 1975 week is because of the pre Thanksgiving GoComics.com site outage that made many comic strips owned by Andrews-McMeel miss the 12/5-12/10 week, but with many to resume next week with new strips…I speculate for the Peanuts Classic strips when they resume 1975 strips next week: 1) The Peppermint Patty/Marcie is either skipped or 2) It is run next week and takes the place of some not suitable for current time mini arcs from 1975 (Snoopy practicing for the Olympics in Austria, Sally making 2 plans for the Bicentennial), and possibly the 1975 Christmas strips still get run as well as the December 16 Beethoven’s birthday strip. Unless…3) The Peanuts 1975 strips get run a week forward in order even as we get in a few weeks the 1976 Peanuts strips unless the holiday related strips are slated for the right days.
