So in this science fiction police procedural police officers are
outfitted with a suit of powered armour that magnifies their reflexes,
physical strength and emotional responses. Then they send them out to
patrol the streets and and do things like pull over drunk drivers.

You know, I've seen a lot of bad ideas in science fiction. This one
beats all of them.

I was going to say, "So they don't use a car", but I see
there's a police car on the cover? A pity, it would be
great visually!

Thinking about it, the car is where you put prisoners
when you have one or two. This may be why the
1994 Canadian _RoboCop_ uses a car; I haven't got
around to watching some recent repeats, but that
situation caught my eye.

I think Judge Dredd's enhancement is only cybernetic
eyes after he was injured in one story, and rejuvenation
since he's been doing the job for 66 years (46 in print).
And he's a clone. (Always was, but it's probably retcon.)
He rides a Lawmaster motorcycle, he dispenses summary
justice with a Lawgiver gun so there may not be a prisoner,
but if there is, Mega-City One is well provided with street
hitching posts to handcuff people onto for pick up.

Yes, they use a vehicle. The issue they're giving cops equipment that
gives them a short fuse, that turns irritation into rage.
