Tell you what Richo. If you can adequately answer the question that I'm
*still* waiting for your (sensible) response to, *then* I'll tell you a
few of the things I've done. So *again*; What does it matter what I've
done in my life in regard to calling out The Fraudster as a serial liar,
massive hypocrite, misoginist, fraud, and snivelling coward? And do note
that these are all proveable, and *not* simply worthless opinions.

Oty again/still Richo!

Hmmmm. I mention "Arian" [sic] and a couple of days later Fraudster plops
out a Nazi reference. I'm sure it's just a coincidence...

Hope you're not holding your breath waiting for anything sensible. If I
remember correctly, Alvey's most conclusive "proof" was that he could
find no record of my business ever having been in the yellow pages which
is odd really given that I never advertised in the phone book :)

You have to wonder why anyone would be *so* fixated about someone
they've never met and who means nothing to them other than for them to
be an excuse to make lots of repetitive and completely irrelevant noise,
which is exactly why these lunatics get ignored in the first place.

Any normal person would just get on with their lives. Assume they had
one to be getting on with.... :)

Had you not noticed that this is a connected world where companies
reduce their cost by cooperating on the basics and differentiating their

Same as Brazilian Mercedes, and VWs. No doubt noddy can find the origin
of his unit simply from the VIN. Lindsay too with his Ranger which
doesn't seem to rate a mention. I was offered a Merc a couple of years
back, the lady owner firmly believed that it was German made, but the
VIN said otherwise. My last Corolla was made in South Africa, so Toyotas
are no different.

It's a very common business practice these days, and it's not because
companies are incapable of coming up with their own individual product
which is a ludicrous idea. It's all about cost.

Volkswagen are more than capable of designing and building their own
ute, and the previous Amarok has been precisely that. But with the cost
of bringing each new model to market getting more and more expensive
each time they do it makes sense to partner with another company and
share the load.

And it's nothing new. This kind of thing goes on today has been going on
for years. Kia and Hyundai share vehicle platforms. Ford and VW do the
same. Nissan and Mercedes have done in the past, and now Nissan is doing
it with Mitsubishi. Ford has previously done it with Mazda and Nissan,
and Holden had done it with Isuzu and Toyota.

There's probably more, but they're the ones that spring immediately to
mind, and suggesting that it was done because one party was incapable of
coming up with a vehicle of their own is nonsensical.

It's not at all, other than the fact that the Rangers destined for the
Australian market are currently coming out of Thailand. That may change
at some future point, although I don't know it it will and nor do I
care, but given that Thailand is the closest manufacturing location to
this country combined with the fact that many other vehicles sold here
have come from that country for decades, I can't think of a logical
reason why that would ever need to change.

It came from Thailand. All current model Rangers sold in Australia do. I
watched it being shipped from Thailand to Australia in real time :)

The wait time problem affecting new vehicles is not one of production,
but rather parts supply and it affects manufacturing plants all over the
world. The same problems affecting new cars sourced from Asia are also
happening in South Africa and the Americas.

It's not a country of origin related issue. If you want to see that in
action for yourself call a VW dealer and ask what the wait time is for a
new Amarok :)
> Lindsay too with his Ranger which doesn't seem to rate a mention.

That because it's Lindsay :)

If I'm not mistaken, his model came from Thailand as well, as do most
other utes sold in this country of Japanese origin.

Country of origin these days doesn't mean shit. My last ute was built in
Spain and had an engine made in France. The Jeep Cherokee I owned years
ago was made in Austria. The Santa Fe is made in South Korea. My F-100
was made in Louisville Kentucky. My Mazda was made in Japan back in the
days when they used to make cars there. My Jag was made in the UK, and
my Fairlane was made right here in Broadmeadows.

I couldn't care less about where *any* of them came from, as I'm
interested in the vehicles. Not the country they were built in.

my Lancer was made in the Land of the Rising Sun. I had thought it was
Aussie made until this post of yours prompted me to investigate. the

How long did you say you spent working in a *university*? It appears
that you learnt nothing from it all. Certainly you know *nothing at all*
about PhDs, Masters, post grad and, I suspect, undergrad degrees.

For a start, I cannot be a PhD supervisor. For that role I would need
to be *a Professor* at a university and I would need to hold at least
one PhD degree, preferably 2 and have a number of *published* research
papers. That's definitely not me.

What's more, my student had not one but three supervisors, the head
supervisor and two assistant supervisors. The reason for this was the
fact that the research program was Melbourne based but carried out in
both Melbourne and Vietnam. That required assistant supervisors in both
locations.

Next would be the fact that I was acting in the role of *tutor* and I
have specifically mentioned this detail several times. Some people, you
included, are just too thick to *get it*! I have also mentioned that my
primary role was as *tutor* for *NESB* students. That entails their
difficulty with English language skills and my assistance in that
regard. If you're working closely with a researcher, you develop a
working relationship in other areas but, again, it's beyond your ken.

PhDs, and some Masters degrees, involve *only* research. In that case,
the Masters research program becomes the preliminary requirement for the
PhD degree. In the case of students having done a Masters by coursework
program, prior to commencing their PhD research program, the prospective
student has to undertake some courses on essentials such as *ethics*,
types of research, and more. You may not be able to comprehend the need
for this since you are singularly lacking in ethics but, for sure, the
need exists as long people like you and Darren exist.

Now, since my last student did her *Masters* by coursework (I worked
with her on that too!), she had to do some prelim. courses - which I
assisted her with - before she commenced developing her research.

What I should mention, at this juncture, is that before even commencing
a PhD research program, the *prospective* candidate must submit a
*Research Proposal*. Most universities require their PhD *applicants* to
submit a research proposal when applying for a PhD position and RMIT is
no exception. I'm positive you have no clue what this is, I'll explain
it to you. A research proposal is document of between 3,000 and 4,000
words giving an outline of the research the *PhD applicant* intends to
undertake. The PhD research proposal must articulate what the applicant
wants to research and why. It must convey an understanding of existing
literature, including *gaps*. It must clearly define one or more
research questions that could lead to new or original knowledge and how
the applicant proposes to answer the question(s). This is done to
convince potential supervisors and sources of funding that the research
project is worthy of their support. My student was fortunate in that her
supervisor approached her first, half of the battle won already. Here is
RMIT's guidline document for research proposals;

https://www.rmit.edu.au/research/research-degrees/how-to-apply/preparing-a-research-proposal

Rest assured, a lot of work is required in the planning and evaluation
stages before the *actual* research commences. But I doubt you would
know any of this since you haven't completed even a degree program.

> putting your considerable ego on display that appears to be all bluff

You weren't there, you have no clue what a PhD research program involves
nor how a university runs it - and you're telling me my contribution is
*miniscule*? Hahahahahahahha

Again your lack of knowledge of educational institutions is showing.
When you work on teaching development programs in TAFE, you work *for
the relevant government authority and it is *they* who *own* and are
*credited* for the work. IOW, they own the *copyright*. In my case, it
would be any of Sunshine Technical School, Richmond TAFE, Moorabbin
TAFE, Barton TAFE and Kangan TAFE and those who supply the contracts.
What is more, I always had, all through my 20 years in TAFE, a *full
teaching load* with the exception of a few occasions where I did an
intensive outside contract. Examples were the development of work for
the Cert III in Multimedia or the various automotive competency
standards for the federal government, I had no teaching load for 3
months. A few times I had a *reduced* teaching load, a reduction of
maybe 8 hours per week. All in all, I doubt it amounted even to 1 year
of no teaching load over the entire 20 year span. Come to think of it,
all that work on competency standards was as part of a team and it is in
use now and has been since around the year 2000. You really haven't a
clue on this educational stuff, have you? How many years did you work in
education? Talk about *flying blind*. ;-)

Wow! Now there's a huge bit of mirror gazing if ever I saw it.

Whilst on the topic of achieving nothing of significance, how's that
*Masters* of yours coming along? You know, the one you were going to do
even without having the *prerequisite* of the successful completion and
awarding of an undergraduate degree! I laughed when you made that
particular claim - and I laugh now when I see your piss poor attempt at
projection.

RMIT thought it was. After all, they were facing the disruptions it
causes with OS students in Australia and at their OS campus. More a
project for *educators*. Hey, the *graduate* was and is a university
lecturer and the issues were experienced and identified by her.

Educators, not social workers per se. Social workers may be required to

Nothing so grandiose! I don't even claim to have done 2 *additional*
apprenticeships! I don't claim to have more trade qualifications than I
have *actual physical proof* of at my home here. I don't claim to have

Yeah, the *parts* it was assembled from could have been *sourced* in 100

And your Fairlane is where it belongs - as a rusty shell. Just needs the
completion of the cycle - to *Simmetal*.

the Yellow Pages gave you a free listing for your business in the
appropriate category, eg., plumbers, accountants, etc., which is why I
had several business names registered. other than that you had to pay
for listings. Noddy would have had 'Noddy's Automotive' listed under
'Automotive repairers' ( or whatever the exact category was), however I
don't recall now if the listings were automatic, or if they had to be
requested. the YP rep visited every year before the new book was to be
published. I used to buy several block ads. they did pay for themselves.

Why do you think that, in Australia, automotive training focuses on
lifelong learning and has done since I entered the field? As I have oft
stated, completion of an apprenticeship does not a craftsman make!

Apprentice training in Australia changed markedly in Australia in ~1980
and especially so in Victoria. It changed again in ~2000. The automotive
training industry were aware of the issues which existed in *electronics
training* because it was the implementation of electronics in cars that
was one of the factors causing dramatic changes in automotive repair.
The changes were why I was continually updating/upgrading my skillset
(auto trans, diesel, electrical) and learning new skillsets
(electronics, fuel injection, EMS, etc) and doing *industry training*.
Can't pass those skills on if you don't have them yourself.

I still continue, where possible, to update those skills today. As an
example, when I wanted a scantool, I researched current trends in
automotive and deemed one which had 10 modes up to $0A was perfect since
mode $0A had recently been introduced into cars in this country (~2010).
I still have that scantool and still use it.

OTOH, one here who *fraudulently claims* to be a qualified mechanic,
didn't have a clue about mode $0A and *permanent* DTCs *in 2023* and who
tried to bullshit and bluff his way through with an incredibly tall tale
which only further served to reinforce the idea that he knew nothing
about EMS. He really brought himself undone! (shout out to Darren the
bullshitter!)
