Been there a few times, they all seem to be much the same price.
Supposed to be getting a new servo next to the new small shopping centre
at the top of Griffith St which will be less than 1km from here, they
will need to be the same price as all the others or they won't sell much
fuel.

prices. Independents can and do charge what they(can carry) like..The
crude base price, ( all down a bit today.) and refinery gate price

He's had some rippers. I always liked the bloke who he claimed painted
his old Falcon in Tasmania who he hadn't spoken to in 40 years, but who
after it coming up in conversation here he was able to pick up the phone
and call and out of the blue the bloke could not only instantly recall
doing the job but could name the colour the car was painted and the
brand and type of paint that was used.

Of course my all time personal favoourite was the bloke who he worked
with at Sunny Tech who he claimed just happened to live *right* where I
do now 20 years before I bought land here and with whom he had all kinds
of detailed conversations about what this area what like, the climate,
the soil, the vegetation, the water quality, you name it. It was just a
*shame* that no one by any of the names he *thought* the guy was called
ever lived anywhere near here according to the electoral roles, and that
20 years before I lived here this was uninhabited farm land :)
