FWIW, the TPMS sensors in my 2009 model year Toyota (built in May 2010,
so over 14 years old) broadcast about once a minute whether the vehicle
is in motion or stationary.

Amazingly, they are _still_ working and according to rtl_433, the battery
indicator bit says the batteries on all 4 are still OK.

Oh, and according to the TPMS sensors in my winter snow tires, it is ~
40 °C in the attic space of my garage where they are stored.

It seemed to work OK when I picked up the bike. Told me I needed air and
went quiet after I filled them.
