Going to be assembling a new gravity smoker. (Think auto feed charcoal BBQ)
Been suggested to use anti-seize compound on the various screws & bolts.
They are typically M4 Steel black painted machine screws.

Any suggestions for an anti-sizes paste /thread dip.

Copper Grease would be my go-to product.

If you are working with food, then you have to be
sure *anything* you use, is food-safe. Can the application
volatilize (bake or burn) the material ?

This is why I DO NOT put lube on toaster runners.
Because nothing is safe.

A safe material, is something that has printed right
on the tube, what conditions it is safe for.

When you're working with food, you have to think of
every aspect of what you're doing. You don't want
to poison someone, or, shorten their life.

When they were re-lining the cold water supply in my neighbourhood
a number of years ago, I asked one of the guys installing it,
about the stuff. He said "Oh, we've been using this stuff for years".
Then I check online, and a German safety report saying it was OK,
had only come out one year before my neighbourhood got the stuff.
It's a material that lines the inside of the water pipe, to extend
the period before the street must be dug up, and all the pipe replaced.
Which means they were using the chemical, for longer than there had been
a safety report.

silicone grease. I don't thin anything else will really do it.
