Trackpad/Touchpad? At best an emergency fallback because I grew up with
a mouse. I'm at least twice as fast with the Magic Mouse and keyboard
shortcuts.

Yes - but only with my middle finger. That appears to have a sweat gland
right where I use it to touch trackpads. The other fingers still glide
smooth. Things you learn on hot days, eh?

I remember that - it was weird!

On another note... my BT mouse won't scroll Calendar. Everything else
is hunky-dory. Odd.

Just tried my Apple Magic Mouse and it seems OK with Calendar. That's on
my M1 Mac running Monterey 12.5.

Thanks. Still AWOL (trackpad works as expected) on this old MBP. It's
Logitech, so would expect it to be fine but... Just that one app.
Nothing worth getting excited about I guess!
