I'd claim to have a hangover after an exciting and exhausting football
game except I haven't and I don't. Also it was a whole day ago. Still,
well done England for getting all the way to the final and holding your
own up until the bitter end.

Play:
--=--

Phantasy Star Online (PC) - Beat Dark Falz on Normal mode! Unlocked the
Hard difficulty mode. Doing so does not negate all the areas being
available in Normal mode! What this means is that I can level up and get
nice equipment in Hard mode for my kid to use in Normal mode and he'll be
none the wiser. He doesn't get that you should stand some distance away
from enemies before attempting to throw fireballs at them.

Want:
--=--

For Dolphin to work seamlessly (PC) - The leading Gamecube and Wii
emulator doesn't quite work perfectly for all games, and it randomly
freezes for no reason every 100,000 frames or so in some compatibility
modes. That's not a complaint, just an observation that if I really want
to play Gamecube games I should just jolly well plug in a Gamecube.

Bin:

Nothing game-related.

Expenditure:

Balance forward - $3,043

Pretty much.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 (PS4) - more of this. The hub area mostly
unlocked a lot sooner than I'd been expecting, which was nice.
Curiously the story levels have primarily been quite short, usually
only two areas basically. That's the sort of thing they'd tended to
just do for DLC levels in previous games. I'm a bit torn on what to
make of this - I've long preferred the city sandbox areas to the
actual story levels in the Lego games, and shorter levels potentially
gives you more variety as well as more time in the sandbox/hub. But it
also feels like a cost-cutting exercise.

Nothing.

One of those short story levels in LMSH2 which I wish had been
shortened to nothing - I think it was a Spider-Man 2099 level. A
tedious dull level with a really crappy two-stage boss that spends
maybe 95% of the time being literally impossible to damage.

I can't believe I'm doing this (as a Scotsman), but can I just say that
the result was a travesty - losing on penalties after England played so
bloody well and Italy did nothing but defend.

A bit harsh, I think Italy just had better luck on the night.
