Which was less than ideal under the circumstances.

[1] Does the use of "ff" for an "f" sound, mean that "paraffin" is a
Welsh word?

wooden a metastove be like you get a room and pile up hundreds and hundreds of ordinary single stoves and have all those those kind of arrange themselves in the shape of a big stove then you'd have a metastove or the like?

Metaldehyde stoves . Burned metaldehyde a solid fuel that came as
tablets. They had advantages of not spilling smelly paraffin in your
rucksack. Paraffin stoves could be very dangerous or smoking if slightly
misused and noisy. The stove is quite heavy.

Metaldehyde stoves were lightweight, when burning the smell was quite
pleasant. On the other hand the flame was almost invisible and nowhere
near as hot as a properly adjusted paraffin stove.

The trouble is that metaldehyde tablets were small enough for a child to
think of them as sweets and they are poisonous.
