I didn't know that. My Robot Wars appearance was in Series 7 on Channel
5, which can be found on Youtube and occasionally gets rebroadcast, but
I was also in Techno Games (Series 2 IIRC) which was on BBC2. Plus
playing live on Telethon '90 on ITV.

Thankfully my only long moment of fame is far to grainy and un-hd to allow recognition.
I was - as a teenager - volunteering at Didcot Railway Center, they made a few of us stand on the footplate of an engine and sing a verse and a chorus for a video for Big Country, one of those Gaelic loving rocks bands of the eighties. I was stood on the footplate of a little saddle tank engine in the background.
It even has a Wikipedia entry - but what doesn't these days - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Great_Thing

When I was in Chennai, we were met off the train by the local union
with a band, garlands and shouts of "Jindi Bah!"

When a colleague asked what the chants meant, my suggestion of "Death
to the foreigners" wasn't met with enthusiasm.
