To be fair, we've had open borders for quite a while now, which hasn't
really been much of a problem. The difference has been we've had a
few thousand travellers at most, not the tens of thousands we get for
the TT

Same. I went to a conference of 3,000 colleagues [0] last week. It was great, but now I've broken my covid-free streak.

Fortunately, no-one else in the house has caught it. We are going to Italy in 15 days, so it's all a bit tense. They either need to get it right now, or not at all.

[0] Incredibly, that's just the people at my level, just in the US/Mexico organization.

Not TT related but on a similar theme with the NHS trusts dropping *all*
PPE and theor staff falling like flies.
Jean has managed to skip it up to now.

I was away Wed/Thur(when se was still tesing Neg) so have a minor chance
of avoiding it still.
