Don't know if there is an easier way but this is what I did.

Steam and a scraper or in my case mostly a scraper by itself like this
one https://adelaidetools.com.au/stanley-razor-blade-scraper-28-500/ .
Just replace the blades often. Probably took an hour or so to do a whole
car and no scratches. The only difficult one is the rear window if it
has a demister, used a lot of heat and steam to get that to come off
reasonably easily.

When I was trading cars I used to get the tint removed for $30 at the
window tinters. I couldn't be arsed doing it myself for that price but
the local mob aren't interested. Could be worth a phone call wherever
you are though.
