I never used to watch Come Dancing when it was very staid and
conservative back in the day. Never had the slightest interest in
ballroom dancing. However, this latest incarnation is very watchable.
I feel like some voyeur at a Victorian freak show. Just when you think
you've seen it all, something even more bizarre and shocking is
presented before you. I'm addicted!

Emma Weymouth was a very graceful dancer, nice little mover as some might
say. They've reached the pensioners now though.

If you want a good laugh listen to the Audio Description. I'm not sure it
actually conveys the sex and the colour or indeed the weird selection of
people doing it. I'm told dancing like that is very mood raising, but I have
to say, not for me. I used to enjoy good ice skaters though I never knew the
moves and their names. I can remember as a youf boggling at the way Anita
Harris used to be able to skate in those pantos on ice things that were all
the rage. I tried skating once but spent most of my time on my backside or
creeping around the barriers of the rink. I should have known better since I
could not even manage roller skates. But ballroom dancing hads never
appealed to me, its a spectacle, but its not for me.
