And not just that, but the 4th warmest ever *month* on record.

I had to look twice and check this. Unbelievable. We are at the end of one of the longest La Ninas in modern times and we have just had one of the warmest months in recorded history.

That really shouldn't have happened at this stage in the ENSO cycle. The world is incredibly warm.
