I admit that I didn't bring the bike. In previous years I've come on the
bike and Mrs Zero in the car, but this year I took into consideration
the fact that it would cost an extra hundred quid, plus if it's wet I'm
not going out for a ride, if it's dry I'll be on the beach (400m <- that
way), and Mrs Zero's spondylosis means she shouldn't go on the bike
anyway. And it pissed it down at various points on our journey down last
Saturday, so I'd have got wet too. Must take it out when I get back to
Zero Towers.

So I changed the jets - even worserer!
Still sorting that $h1t out, going back to basics with mixture etc etc

I like fire, so despite it burping some fuel out of an overflow I
started it anyway.
I did check where the fire extinguisher was first.
It actually ran, and with a very cursory balance, revved.
I'll poke it some more at the weekend but it's scarily promising.

Today I threw fuel at it and none fell out.
It started first blip, warmed up, balanced it, and it revs out fine.
Some very occasional backfire on the over run, but is that bad or cool?
I'm not sure how 'naughty' the end can is.
A second fuel tap was ordered tonight as the current ebay special won't
work, but hells I took a photo of the number plate in case I need to get
it insured. It needs to roll to an MOT station to get a list of tasks.

Backfiring could be a leaky exhaust - I'd have a quick check before MOT
'cos some are fussy about that.
