Big boss comes in this morning and tells me he's really worried as it
looks like his H2 SX is running low on oil; it was only serviced
recently and there's no oil in the sight glass.

"At the risk of asking a stupid question" says I, "did you check it with
the bike upright or on the side stand?"

I refrained from calling him a twat, and instead took him outside and
got him to stand the bike upright. As if by magic, oil appeared!

Well, filling , *never* put more than 1.5 litres in without running
engine, unless you like oil all over the floor.

When checking, go for a ride.
Pull up.
Walk away for 5 mins.
Check dip stick level.
Try and remember if it should be screwed in or not.
Do both, get confused, add too muc oil.
Get turkey baster and syphon some out.
Start again.
